Welcome to Curiosity Corner! During this ongoing class students will learn about a new strange and curious creature each week. From the Axolotl to Mind Control Fungus and everything in between. We will explore through slide shows and video. Students will participate through discussion and will have a chance to vote for what animal they would like to learn about. I will incorporate vocabulary words, sign language, science and history into the lesson where possible. ⇢ Week of 8/27/21:...
Students will be introduced to a new creature each week and gain knowledge in animal habits, habitats, and features.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Topics such as mating, defecation or death may come up depending on the creature we are discussing.
