Each week, students will be presented with personally curated writing prompts that encompass a variety of media, including images, videos, and scenarios. Each session is customized to the individual student, taking into account their age, interests, and writing proficiency. This ensures that prompts resonate with them making the writing experience more enjoyable and meaningful. At the end of class, writers will be encouraged to share their work (though they can also choose not to). Students will also be given the opportunity to submit their work after class for further feedback. Ultimately, the goal of this course is to instill a lifelong love for writing and storytelling by boosting students' confidence as storytellers and allowing them to find their own unique voice. Teacher Janet is an avid lifelong writer and reader and hopes to share her passion for storytelling through her online classes. Her classes aim to challenge students to think critically about the stories they consume and inspire them to create stories of their own. She hopes to empower children to explore their creativity, develop their own unique voice, and feel more confident sharing their thoughts/ideas

Class Policies:
• Refunds will only be provided wth 24 hours notice except for extenuating circumstances
• Transfer requests must be made before class start time. Preferably 24 hours in advance but exceptions will be made on a case by case basis
• Sections with only one learner enrolled will be taught as scheduled for the first 3 sessions. If no other learners attend in that time, the section will be concluded at the teacher's discretion.
