Lets make some adorable and yummy holiday cupcakes! In this class we will be working with fondant to make our delicious Christmas decorations. This class is great for beginners, we will use simple easy steps to decorate cupcakes. Cake decorating is a great creative outlet for students and they learn a new skill at the same time. This is a FLEX class, there will not be a live class. Step by step video will be posted on Monday and students will have access over the week to watch and make cupcakes. What We Will Learn: -How to use butter cream icing to frost a cupcake -How to shape and cut fondant -Using our creativity to decorate a cupcake We will be decorating at least 4 cupcakes in class feel free to bring more to decorate! Make sure all fondant is colored before class. Videos will be used to show students the different steps.

Parental Guidance
Students will need to be able to use a knife to cut fondant, this does not have to be a sharp knife if there is concern about getting cut.
Supply List
3-6 Pre-made cupcakes Fondant in the following colors: White, Red, Black or Gray, Orange Optional: An additional color of their choice Pre-made white buttercream frosting (we will not need a lot of this, just enough to coat the top of each cupcake) Rolling pin Knife for spreading frosting and cutting fondant Pizza Cutter (optional but helpful) Circle cookie cutter or cup, that is about the size of the top of a cupcake. Powdered sugar Small bowl with water New Paintbrush Clean place to work. Optional: Glitter sprinkles, color doesn't matter but I used red and pink.
