Class Experience

Hello learners and thank you for showing interest in my class! Get ready to travel, eat, and repeat. We will travel to a different country each week through baking. Have you ever wanted to travel to a certain country or wanted to recreate a dessert you had abroad? In this class, you will have that very opportunity.

Students will learn culinary skills such as safety in the kitchen and also words from the countries we will be visiting through food.

I am a self-taught baker/cook for twenty years. I have also traveled to the countries we will be learning about and have even taken cooking classes in Italy.

There is no formal homework. I do encourage to practice the recipes we will learn, become more familiar in the kitchen, and have fun experimenting with different flavors.

A supply list will be sent in a PDF form after signing up. No special equipment is needed. Recipes will be sent out one week prior to class through the classroom.

1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parental guidance is needed since we will be working in the kitchen. I will be reviewing the safety measures before and throughout class.
