Class Experience

Pineapple Cake Pops Ingredients for Cake Pops: (makes ~12-16) ● Cake pop dough premade, chilled and ready for shaping ( crumble a whole 8" cake of choice, mix in 1-2 tbsp frosting of choice and yellow food coloring, knead into a soft dough consistency, chill in fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes before class) ● 18oz Yellow chocolate candy melts ● 8oz Green chocolate candy melts ● Paramount crystals/ EZ-Thin/ virgin coconut oil (solid) to thin out chocolate if needed ● Yellow food coloring Tools: ● Wax paper on a large cookie sheet/ tray ● Toothpicks for decorating ● 12-16 Lollipop sticks ● Microwave safe bowls for melting candy ● Spoons and forks for dipping and lifting ● Small Ziploc bag with #1 piping tip (if you do not have piping tip, you can just cut a tiny corner off the bag) ● Cake-pop stand/ styrofoam block or something to stick the pops unto for drying ● Microwave ● Room in fridge/ freezer to allow cake balls to dry quickly
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will use the microwave to melt candy.
