Welcome to Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) & Forensic Science Virtual Teen Camp!

My name is Lance Davis, and I have been in the Criminal Justice field for the last 26-years. I am a huge fan of both Crime Scene Investigation and Forensic Science, plus I love to teach the topic to students of all ages.

During this 1-Day Camp, students will learn the basics of how and why Investigators & Forensic Scientists do what they do to try and get an answer. We will cover topics such as: What is Crime Scene Investigation & Forensic Science, Observation Techniques & Identification, Steps to working a Crime Scene which include the 7 S's, Fingerprints, Trace Evidence, Crime Scene Scenes, and much more. We will put this information together to complete some fun activities which will include working an investigation. Also, at the end of the class (time pending), I will let the students have a friendly competition as they compete in an online Crime Scene escape room.

This camp will use: Google slides, YouTube videos.

I do require the student to be active, their camera on at all times, and willing to participate in Q & A. This class could last up to an hour.

Students will need the following supplies:
1. A White Sheet of Copy Paper
2. Clear Scotch Tape
3. Pencil
4. Magnifying Glass (optional)
5. Either a 2nd Device with internet or the ability to split the screen to play an escape room.
