Join us to learn some fun facts and beliefs about amethyst, citrine, and rose quartz , one small part of the vast family of quartz crystals. 
During the class we will discover the structure of quartz, and why the colors vary. We will find out where quartz crystals can be found and some uses for quartz crystals. 
Many believe quartz crystals have special properties that promote healing, well-being  and mystery. Learn more about these beliefs and let us know what you think! 
At the end of class we will develop a graph depicting the student's opinions about quartz based on what we have learned. 

Students will be encouraged to take notes on the information about the crystals presented in class. 
The class will participate in a "Jeopardy game at the end of the class to see how much they can remember about these amazing gems.
