Class Experience

Join us to learn some fun facts about the mysterious stones called geodes. Geodes look like ordinary rocks but contain a beautiful surprise inside when cracked open. They have long been sought after for their beauty and value.
During the class we will discover what a geode is, how to safely open one and how to identify the surprise inside. Geodes contain different crystals from deep purple amethyst, to dazzling quartz crystals to beautifully patterned agates.

I have been collecting and researching crystals and gemstones for many years. I have an extensive collection of crystals and a deep fascination with learning how crystals have been used throughout history. My son hunts and polishes stones in his basement workshop, so I am very familiar with the process of finding and bringing stones to their polished beauty. I love crystals and gemstones, both for their beauty and their versatility.
