This is a 4 class/1 week course will scratch the surface of the world of Cryptology.
Class experience
Cryptology is the art of encrypting and decrypting secret information using codes and algorithms. Each lesson will focus on a certain cipher of cryptology. Each lesson will be a live lesson where the class will be encoding and decoding messages on a particular cipher. In addition to the live lesson for each class, students will also be provided a detailed KEY to reference if they need additional practice or need to look over the steps again. Beginner course of cryptology. Students will be giving a glimpse into the simplest forms of cryptology. Students will be given a brief history of the development of cryptology. Students will explore different forms of ciphers and learn how to encode and decode messages using knowledge of the English language.

Homework Offered
Homework for this course will be limited. Students will be expected to complete a homework assignment that outlines the main idea of the cipher focused on for that particular lesson (no longer than 30 minuets between each class). Students will be assigned a homework assignment via Google Forms following each lesson.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Student's grades will be assessed following their completion of the homework assignment. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions during a live class. The ultimate assessment will be during the Interactive Jeopardy game during our 4th and final class.Grades Offered
