Cryptocurrency Game for Beginners! Learn Crypto Basics & How to Invest

Participants in this multi-day course (Once a week for Four Weeks) will play a simulated game based on the real Crypto market. Students will learn cryptocurrency basics and compete to grow their portfolios. The overall winner at the end of 4 weeks will be crowned our Crypto Champion. The class is easy to follow, engaging, and interactive. Learn how Blockchains work, and why, and how to invest in the growing number of cryptocurrencies. 

-Each week the students will learn blockchain concepts and insights into the pros and cons of investing in cryptos. Students will be free to play the game during the week by using their virtual money to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. I will use google forms, docs, slides, Kahoot, and video clips to cover the topics. 

-Classes will be fun, quick, and engaging (30 minutes each). Students will not sit through long, boring, endless lectures. Instead, learning will be interactive, informative, and educational. 

-Certificates will be awarded each class to the student who has gained the most money in their portfolio.  

-Wk 1 Students will learn what cryptos are, differences between cryptos and stocks, and beginner strategies on how to pick cryptos to buy and sell in our simulated game. 

-Wk 2 Students will learn what a blockchain is, and the history of how it started. They will also learn tips for picking the best cryptos to invest in. 

-Wk 3 Students will learn what can cause crypto prices to change, volatility, and how to track gains and losses on the value of their portfolio.

-Wk 4 Students will learn what crypto mining is, and how it creates more digital currency. We will also cover practical uses for cryptos in today's world. We will have a final class review, and announcement of the overall winner of our crypto game.
