US Grade 9 - 12
This is a one-day class that will teach and review strategies on how to successfully navigate the ACT Science Exam. The class will focus on improving skills of data interpretation by looking at patterns and trends in charts, graphs, tables and figures. The test prep will also include a review of variables and identifying relationships among these variables. Additionally, strategies for the reading portions of the Science exam will be given along with how to break down the information to improve success. This class is for the student who has not taken the ACT or the student who has taken the exam but wants to improve their score. I will include notes and practice problems to download and print prior to class and will guide the students through theses as we review. The class will be interactive as the students will be expected to participate in working through the practice problems and asking questions if needed.

Students will learn strategies to enhance their data interpretation and reasoning skills to help their performance on the ACT Science exam.
