Class Experience
This is a one-day class that will teach and review strategies on how to successfully navigate the ACT Science Exam. The class will focus on improving skills of data interpretation by looking at patterns and trends in charts, graphs, tables and figures. The test prep will also include a review of variables and identifying relationships among these variables. Students will learn strategies to enhance their data interpretation and reasoning skills to help their performance on the ACT Science exam.
I am a licensed teacher with a biology degree and over 20 years of teaching/tutoring science prep classes for the ACT exam.
No homework is assigned
1 file available upon enrollmentPDF documents with notes and practice problems will be attached that will need to be downloaded and printed prior to class.
Students are assessed informally as they work through practice problems.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
