The four-lesson hands-on flex class does not include face to face interaction. The class introduces introduces learners to: paragraph formatting, letter formatting, bullets and numbers, copy and paste, page borders and shading, alignment, print orientation, inserting columns, the format painter, the navigation pane. This class includes worksheets for learners to complete to help them sync in these skills. This is the second segment of the Word portion of the technology applications class that I taught in middle school for 20 years. I wrote the curriculum based on skill requirements set by the state of Texas. The Word portion is divided into two basic parts. Class 1 – Paragraph formatting Class 2 – Format painter, symbols, tables, find and replace, header/footer Class 3 – Letter formatting, inserting and framing images, wrapping text and themes Class 4 – Tabs, page borders and putting the skills together to format your own document Needed for this class: Computer with video, sound and document saving capability, newer version of Microsoft Word (2019 or Office 365) preferred

To continue to learn the Microsoft Word program so learner can implement it when necessary to perform tasks.
