In this ongoing class we will be doing different bodyweight workouts. Each class will begin with a short warm-up and mobility exercises. After that I will explain and demonstrate the movements that will be used in our WOD (workout of the day). I will also show any necessary modifications or scaling option. Next, I will go over what format of workout we will be using. During our workout portion, I will be demonstrating as well as correcting exercise form in order to maintain safety as well as to make sure students are getting the most out of the workout as possible. Once the workout is over, we will have a short discussion on how it went (what we liked, how we can improve, etc.). Students will also be led through a short cool down in order to relax the body and bring down their heart rate. Students will need to make sure they are dressed comfortably and have adequate space to move around. All fitness levels are welcome! Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students will need an open workout space free from any potential obstacles. Proper footwear is recommended. Having a water bottle nearby will be helpful so students can take a quick drink to stay hydrated and not miss out on any class time. Parental supervision is suggested in the event of an accident. We will warm-up as a class, but stretching beforehand is recommended.
