Description
Class Experience
In this class, we are making a unique Irish dessert that is a traditional treat in Ireland. This dessert is uniquely created using the crockpot! I make the recipe right along with the learners, using a camera so students can follow along with me. I present slides with instructions, along with some breaks with trivia and themed riddles. We sure have fun in our cooking classes! The class includes the recipe and shopping list to print out. No experience is needed, but you do need a slow...
Learners will gain confidence in the kitchen and see that cooking doesn't have to be complicated.
I will post the recipe on the class page. Here is the ingredient list: - apples - regular or cinnamon graham crackers - salt - butter - brown sugar - allspice - cinnamon
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents may need to supervise the preparation of the baking project since we are working in the kitchen. The recipe will be posted in advance on the class page. You can substitute if you need to make changes for dietary needs, allergies, or preferences.
