Class Experience
Learners will gain confidence in the kitchen and see that baking doesn't have to be complicated.
A grocery list will be provided in class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
INGREDIENTS: Banana Bread - (eggs, vegetable oil, light brown sugar, sugar, vanilla extract, ripe bananas, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon) Lemon Cake - (yellow cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, salt, butter, sugar, eggs, sour cream, lemon, vanilla extract, poppy seeds) Bread - (active dry yeast, sugar, flour, olive oil, kosher salt) Monkey Bread - (sugar, ground cinnamon, buttermilk biscuits, chocolate-covered caramels, caramel & chocolate sauce (optional)) ________________________________________________________ Parents may need to supervise the preparation of meals since we are working in the kitchen. There may be some browning of meat or cutting ahead of the class. The recipe will be sent out in advance so there is time to gather the ingredients. The recipe will be posted on the class page in advance. You can substitute if you need to make changes for dietary needs, such as if your dog is sensitive to certain foods or can not have certain ingredients.
