Class Experience
Hagrid and I have always wanted to own our own pet unicorn. They require specialist knowledge, but a skilled wizard such as yourself can handle them. This is an Advanced Beginner's Amigurumi class. pattern reading advanced stitches crocheting in the round magic ring
I learned to crochet at the age of 6. I had aunties that crocheted and knitted regularly and it was just natural I picked it up. I crochet as a way to relax, I crochet to give gifts and share love, I also crochet for profit during the holiday season. I am also the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan you will ever meet. It was just natural to combine the two things I love most and share it with others.
Students will be expected to complete some sections on their own between classes.
3 files available upon enrollment1 - Approx. 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn #4 of whichever color or colors you wish to use for your unicorn. I suggest at least 2 different colors and a little white, black, and yellow for eyes and other finishes. I used: - White for the body - gold for the horn and hoofs - black, gold, and white for the eyes - purple, pink, white, silver, baby blue for the mane and tail. You do not need this many colors, this is all up to you 2 - standard toy stuffing (polyester cluster filling) 3 - 1 pair 7.5 mm safety eyes or beads of a similar size for eyes (or you can embroider the eyes, so a small amount of yarn to do that). 4 - Tapestry needle (yarn needle) 5 – one 5 mm hook 6- one 6 mm hook 7 - a good pair of scissors
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
