Description

Class Experience

Everyone loves a super cute ELF. In the "Crochet Your Own Elf Hat" class you will crochet your very first hat.

This is NOT A BEGINNER'S CROCHET CLASS. All students must know how to crochet. Particularly, slip knot, slip stitch and double crochet. Students must be comfortable with these stitches and do them well.

In order to complete our Magical Holiday Elf, we will also learn the Magic ring, how to crochet in the round, increasing a stitch, decreasing a stitch and how to assemble the face...

Students will be expected to crochet on their own between classes and complete assignments.

For this project you will need:

1.    #4 medium worsted weight yarn in 4 colors. I would suggest RedHeart Super Saver #4 yarn. Yarn colors should be:
tan
green
black
white

2.     J/10 6.00MM crochet hook

3.     A sharp pair of scissors

4.     A yarn needle (looks like a sewing needle but has a blunt end and the eye of the needle should be large enough for #4 yarn to thread through)

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
