**This is a club for students who already know how to complete a slipknot, chain and single crochet.  If you need to learn the basics of crochet, I would be happy to set up a 1-on-1 class. 

Welcome to the crochet club where creativity threads through every stitch! Each week, we're diving deeper into the colorful world of crochet, weaving together a vibrant community of learners passionate about yarns and hooks. 

As the guide of this group, I'll be showcasing my latest creations, unraveling the mysteries behind intricate stitches, and guiding everyone through a kaleidoscope of patterns. Together, we'll discover the art of crochet and bond over our shared love for this craft.

The class layout will include:

2-3 minutes-We will welcome new members and introduce ourselves to them.

10-15 minutes-Teacher will demonstrate a stitch either of her choice or guided by the students' needs.

15-20 minutes-Students will socialize, share what they are working on or ask for help from the teacher or their peers.

December 10: half double crochet
December 17: double crochet
January 7: treble crochet
January 14: Basics of Pattern Reading
January 21: Working in the Round
January 28: Increasing/Decreasing

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Students will be using scissors to cut their yarn, so students will need to be careful not to cut themselves.
Pre-Requisites
Students should be able to tie a slipknot and make a chain.
Supply List
Students will need scissors, yarn, a plastic yarn needle and crochet hooks.
