Description
Class Experience
In this class students will learn how to make their own amigurumi turtle using a simple single crochet. I teach via "tell, show, do, feedback" which is similar to the gradual release model used in schools. I will share a document that has written instructions that students can follow, as well in class I will model the crochet techniques (slip knot, slip stitch, single crochet and chain). Over the class meetings students will be able to crochet their turtles and meet/converse with other...
Light green, dark green and a tan for a standard color turtle, OR colors of student's choice. If using a 4 worsted yarn like Redheart, a 5 mm hook, if using a larger yarn you will want a larger hook. Stuffing, scissors and a darning needle.
2 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
