Does your learner love to crochet? In this social club, learners will get a chance to socialize with peers, show off their completed works or works in progress, and work on projects alongside fellow crochet enthusiasts! Topics of conversation are not limited to crochet, and will be moderated by the teacher. Learners can discuss whatever they desire, but the teacher will offer suggested topics to help prompt conversation when needed. There is no set schedule for discussion topics, they are learner-directed. The class structure is very loose; think a quilting circle but for crochet! Learners are welcome to bring whatever projects they want to work on with them, any crochet projects are more than welcome. There is no required work between meetings, but learners who are working on long form projects are welcome to share what they have worked on since we last met to share their progress! Please note, this is a social class and formal crochet instruction will not be provided. Learners of all crochet abilities are more than welcome, but instruction on how to complete projects or do different stitches will not be guaranteed. I am more than happy to help learners interpret patterns or figure out stitches when I am able, but learners should come to class with the knowledge required to finish whatever their personal project is!
Learning Goals
To engage in conversation with peers, to grow in their public speaking skills, and to continue pursuing their passions!

I have been crocheting for over 15 years, and have a true passion for the art! I love to encourage that joy amongst young people. I always enjoyed the atmosphere of crochet club growing up and spending time with likeminded peers, and I hope to foster that in this class as well!
