In this multi-day class students will learn how to crochet an amigurumi puppy dog.
Class experience
In this class students will learn how to make their own amigurumi puppy dog using a simple single crochet. I teach via "tell, show, do, feedback" which is similar to the gradual release model used in schools. I will share a document that has written instructions that students can follow, as well in class I will model the crochet techniques (slip knot, slip stitch, single crochet and chain). I like Redharts "Aran Fleck" for this project as it has a variety of tan/black/brown colors in it, BUT students can use 2 colors of their choice 1 for the main body and 1 for spots. With a 4 worsted yarn a 5 mm hook. If using a fluffier yarn, use a bigger hook. Black yarn for nose/mouth, safety eyes, darning needle and scissors.
