Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn to use the single crochet technique, work in the round, increase and decrease stitches to produce a completed crochet owl.
I have over 30 years experience with crocheting and a variety of other fiber arts.
Students will be asked to practice their crochet stitches if they are struggling with them, to be ready to move on with the rest of the class.
Students will need 1 ball or skein of worsted weight yarn in each of the following colors; Students will need 1 ball or skein of worsted weight yarn in each of the following colors; grey, white, brown, and yellow. Students will also need G or H crochet hook is recommended, but any size hook between F and K will work. Students will need scissors, and a darning needle for the final stitching and doll assembly. Students will also need a package of Polly Fill to stuff the owl and two size 12mm safety eyes.
Students will share their progress at the end of each week.
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Parental Guidance is required for the use of sharp objects. Students will be using scissors and needles for this class.
