In this class students will move on to mastering new skills as fast as their hands allow! Beginner students can first learn proper yarn and hook holding techniques. Good hand work the basis of crochet and a good hold allows you to make many kinds uniform stitches easily. We then work on slip stitches and singe crochet stitches.  More advanced skills include double and treble crochet, increase and decrease stitches, shell stitches, V stitch, pop-corn, picot and more. Students can also learn how to read and work from a pattern. When signing up for this class please state what crochet experience your learner already has, if any, and what goals they are interested in learning.

I've been crocheting for more than 10 years. I make a variety of accessories, household items, decorative items and amigurumi. I have taught many children and adults to crochet.
