In this multi-day class students will learn how to make a granny square and turn it into a beautiful granny square blanket. Granny squares have been around for a long time and are a great way to use new yarn as well as older scraps of yarn. Granny square blankets and afghans are known for their bright colors and simple borders. I teach using a "tell, show, do, feedback" method similar to the gradual release models used in schools.
