This is a one-time class to help your child understand the basics of crocheting. In this course I will show you how to cast onto a crochet hook, how to gauge what hooks and yarns to use, how to create a chain, and how to turn your work. This will be a live lesson and we can create more classes if everyone is interested. All that will be needed isa medium weight, acrylic yarn since I feel this is the easiest for beginners to work with. Check the suggested crochet hook size, this is usually...

1 medium weight, acrylic yarn (can be purchased at any craft store) 1 5mm or 6mm crochet hook (Aluminum is best for beginners)
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
