Description
Class Experience
In this class students will learn how to make their own amigurumi deer/reindeer using a simple single crochet. I teach via "tell, show, do, feedback" which is similar to the gradual release model used in schools. I will share a document that has written instructions that students can follow, as well in class I will model the crochet techniques (slip knot, slip stitch, single crochet and chain). Over the class meetings students will be able to crochet their deer/reigndeer and meet/converse...
1-2 colors for body/ears (red as well if you want to make Rudolph) of a 4 worsted yarn and a 5 mm hook. If you use a larger yarn, use a larger hook. Safety eyes, safety nose (or yarn to embroider), stuffing, scissors and a darning needle.
2 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
