🧶 Crochet Club: Creative Projects for Crochet Crafters (Ongoing) For ages 10-15 Welcome to Crochet Club, the perfect place for crochet-loving learners to connect, create, and grow their skills! In this ongoing class, we’ll go beyond the basics to explore a variety of fun and creative projects—from cute seasonal décor to stylish accessories and advanced stitch patterns. Each week, we’ll work on a new project or technique, offering guidance, tips, and plenty of encouragement. Learners can crochet along in class, socialize, ask questions, share their progress, and even help decide future projects! Whether you're looking to challenge yourself, meet other crafty learners, or just have a relaxing time creating something cool, this class is for you. The breakdown of the first 4 weeks is as follows: Week 1 (March 24) “Hooked on Granny Squares” Learners will create colorful granny squares while exploring different color combinations and stitch consistency. These can be used later to make bags, blankets, or wall art! Week 2 (March 31) “Springtime Scrunchies & Hair Ties” Crochet stylish and stretchy scrunchies using fun yarn textures—perfect for spring outfits or gifting! Week 3 (April 7) “Cute & Tiny Amigurumi Friends” We’ll dive into the basics of amigurumi by creating a simple mini plushie—think baby bees, tiny turtles, or pocket pals! Week 4 (April 14) “Textured Stitch Sampler Bookmarks” Learners will explore new stitch patterns (like bobble, waffle, or shell) and create a useful crochet bookmark showcasing their favorites. 🧵 Learners should already know how to: Chain Single crochet 🎯 What to expect: Weekly themed projects or skills Supportive, social atmosphere Pattern walkthroughs and live demonstrations Encouragement to show off your unique style! NO BULLY ZONE At Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy, we’re all about creating a safe and welcoming space for every learner! Our strict NO BULLYING rule reflects our commitment to kindness and respect among classmates. Here’s how we handle behavior issues in a friendly way: Verbal Warning: If a student needs a gentle reminder about our expectations, we’ll start with a friendly verbal warning. Waiting Room/Break Room: If the behavior continues, the student might spend a little time in a waiting or break room. During this time, the teacher will chat with them to understand what’s going on and help them get back on track before returning to class. Removal from Class: If issues persist, we may need to remove the student from class. Unfortunately, no refunds can be issued in this case. We believe in giving everyone a chance to learn and grow, and together, we can ensure our classes remain a fun place for all!
