*PLEASE NOTE: this class is NOT meant as a beginner class. It is for anyone that has already mastered the Chain Stitch, Single Crochet, and beyond. If you are in need of a beginner's class to learn the art of crochet, I do offer a 1:1 crochet class once a week as well. Do you love the art of crocheting? Do you love to just sit and talk while you crochet? Are you wanting to learn new advanced stitches? If so, this is the class for you. Each week, we will gather together for 55 minutes to chit-chat, collaborate, and crochet. Every other week, I will bring a new stitch for the group to learn. Whether it's a granny stitch, a bobble stitch, or even a double crochet stitch...there are thousands of different stitches to learn to help your project go even further. You're also welcome to bring along a stitch for others to try out if you would like. You are also more than welcome to suggest or ask for specific stitches every other week. Scissors will be used during the class at times. Parental guidance at guardians discretion.

-Yarn -Crochet hooks (multiple sizes) -Embroidery needle -Marker (holds the place in the project while you make a round and such- looks like a safety pin but plastic) -Scissors -Any project you are working on

Hi there!
My name is Tessa DeForge. I live in the beautiful state of Vermont with my husband, 2 silly dogs and 2 precocious cats. I graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2011 and hold a bachelor's in Art Education.
I am very passionate about education. I have taught in a traditional setting for 10 years as a 6-12 art teacher and as an early educator. I love to teach a multitude of things through art and play. Some of the classes I offer are: Art Social Group, Crochet Club, 1;1 Knitting and Crochet classes, as well as social groups, to name a few. I am always looking to expand on my class list. The skies the limit when it comes to art and I hope to have some more exciting classes up and running in the very near future.
