This class is designed for students who have knowledge of the beginner crochet stitches. Beginner crochet students should have taken the crochet camp level 1, 2, 3, 4 course first to learn the basic crochet stitches needed to complete the crochet mask project. If students have not taken level 1, 2, 3, and 4 they can still participate if they know the basic stitches of crochet including: slip knot, slip stitch, chain, Single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, and treble crochet. Along with some additional advanced techniques such as, how to read patterns, increasing, decreasing, and attaching pieces together. Students will use the basic stitches of crochet to learn to create this crochet doll. Students will get to ask questions after each instruction is given. Students will also be provided with a video tutorial to access for each step after the class.
Learning Goals
Students will use their skills of creating shapes to complete one amigurumi crochet doll. The goal for this class is for students to complete a project that has a series of steps While following along and reading a more advanced pattern. The project will help improve the students concentration and consistency. The goal is also for the student to learn to work independently on a project after they’ve worked on the project in class with guided instruction.
