Class Experience
In this class we are going to make a bowl cozy. This great project keeps your hands from getting burned on a hot bowl when you have hot food in your bowl. This is a great first project for new crocheters. Students will learn the following stiches in this class, chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, and finishing off. I have been crocheting for 35+ years. My grandmother taught me. It is a skill that is becoming lost, and I feel a great desire to pass this timeless skill onto the next generation. The class will provide youtube videos link after class for extra practice.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents will need to be nearby for support for the student since the teacher is unable to physically help the student with holding the hook and wrapping the yarn. But must remain off camera according to outschool policy. The class will provide youtube videos link after class for extra practice.
