In this class, students will learn how to make Baby Yoda. I will show how to do each stitch slowly, so that it is easier to understand. This class will be very hands on. Some techniques I will be modeling will be the magic ring, single crochet, increase, double crochet, invisible decrease, slip stitch, and chain. I will share a document that has written instructions that students can follow. Students will be able to finish what they didn't finish in class with the written instructions. During class, students will be able to ask questions and converse with other students about their crochet hobbies. This class is for intermediate learners, some basic crochet knowledge will be needed. I would recommend taking my one-time beginners crochet class before starting this class if you do not have any experience. Week one: Day 1 - Make the head Day 2 - Make the eyebrows, eyelids, and nose Week two: Day 1 - Make the ears Day 2 - Make the arms and fingers Week three: Day 1 - Make toes and foot Day 2 - Make the body Week four: Day 1 - Make the robe Day 2 - Finish off by sewing everything together *I did not make this crochet pattern

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Hanna Kim. I currently live in Minnesota and teach English online. I have a Bachelors degree of Principles and Methods of Language Education and certified in Teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). I have experience teaching all age groups, and I am very excited to finally teach what I love to your child!
I started learning how to crochet 6 years ago after I saw a crochet bunny for the first time. It was so touching and beautiful to see how much effort was put into it. Receiving it as a gift felt so special. From then on I decided, I wanted to crochet and make others happy. I had made different animals for friends and family (elephant, giraffe, lion, teddy bear, llama, panda, horse, etc...).
In addition to crocheting, I love to learn languages. I know English, Korean, American Sign Langauge, and currently learning Nepali. I love learning about new cultures and traveling around the world. I also love music and learning new instruments. I played the flute in school and taught myself how to play the piano and kalimba. My goal is to make learning fun and enjoyable!
I have two very adorable cats living in my home. They might make an appearance once in a while in my classes as they love to meet new people too. I hope to have the opportunity to meet your learner soon! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
