Class Experience
In this class, students will learn to crochet an easy rosebud that's about 3/4 inches across along with a leaf to attach to the rose. These are very quick to make and they turn out really pretty! They can be used in many ways and we will share ideas during our class. This project is suitable for intermediate crocheters. It's a nice project for learners who are proficient with basic crochet stitches. Please note: If this time is not suitable for you, please let me know. I may be able to...
Students will use 5 basic crochet stitches to make a beautiful rosebud an leaf.
2 files available upon enrollmentMaterials needed for this project: 1-2 skeins of medium weight acrylic yarn (Green for leaves and 1 color for the rose if possible. However, one color will work). A crochet hook (about a 6mm or a size suitable for the yarn) A darning needle Scissors Handouts with the patterns and pattern abbreviations will be available to view and/or print.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Scissors and a darning needle will be needed so parental guidance may or may not be necessary. It is left to the parent’s discretion.
