Description
Class Experience
Students will learn basic crochet skills and terminology. By the end of classes they will be able to make and join granny squares.
I have been crocheting since I was nine. I have made scarves, pillows, blankets, slippers and much more.
Learners should practice their new skills
Worsted weight or bulky yarns easier to work with than thinner yarn. Students will need: solid color worsted weight yarn(size 4) of choice crochet hooks size H, I, J and k tapestry needle scissors pen and paper to take notes Although granny squares look great in any color when first learning how to make them it is best to choose lighter colors. This will aid in the learners ability to see the stitches.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
informal assessments will be made
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
