What is the largest animal in the world? How many creepy, crawly critters are in your home? What is the difference between a frog and a toad? How many sets of ribs can a snake have? What is the fish that can walk on land? We will answer all of these questions and many more during our four days together. This camp is taking my eight-week animal kingdom course and condensing it down to four information-packed and fun-filled lessons. Day 1: Introduction and Mammals Day 2: Reptiles and Amphibians Day 3: Fish and Birds Day 4: Invertebrates and Wrap-Up Each day will include fun trivia games and challenges for the students. Since this is a much quicker version of this course, we will not have homework or quizzes outside of class. You don't need to bring anything to class except yourself, a good attitude, and a readiness to learn and have fun.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am a mom of four great kiddos (ages 13 to 1). I currently run my own business making and delivering homemade dinners to those in my community. I have spent the last four years teaching ESL to students in China. I worked with high school foreign exchange students for three years. My professional career prior to those was nearly a decade of work in broadcast journalism. I actually took a break from Outschool for a couple of years, as I worked as the Morning Executive Producer for our local ABC and CW affiliates. In my everyday life, my kids and I enjoy getting outside to enjoy activities such as hiking, camping, and swimming. I will be offering fun preschool, book club, cooking, travel, natural science, political science, and journalism courses. I look forward to meeting you and introducing you to great new information in a laid back environment.
