Having a Master's Degree in English and Writing as well as 9 years of experience teaching these subjects, I have discovered ways to help students who need extra help with these topics. Teaching is my passion, and I look forward to helping students discover ways to make English and writing fun! Even if you are skilled in these subjects, this course can really dive deep into becoming a better reader, writer, and overall student as English skills translate into all courses overall.
Homework will be a writing assignment based on the weekly reading; students will use the knowledge learned in class to respond to a literature text, to which individualized, written feedback will be provided for each learner.
I will provide students will all materials in the classroom discussion board.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
