This course will meet 3 times within one week. It will assist learners in being prepared to think critically, creatively, and express it verbally and in writing.
Class experience
US Grade 4 - 6
In this three day course the learner will be taught how to think critically and creatively. They will be able to ask & answer questions about a picture and make connections to reading skills. The class will be structure the following: Introduction/review, direct instruction of critical thinking and/or writing component, group discussion around a picture and then a final writing and reflection of the picture. Students will improve their critical thinking skills, speaking and listening skills, and writing skills through the various activities.
Homework Offered
Students will be assigned a picture to view and create a story or answer questions about the pictures. The homework will take no longer than 30 minutes and will be given one to two times over the week.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The learner will be assessed based on the verbal conversation and written assignments.Grades Offered
Computer with working web camera and microphone to engage in the discussion. Paper and pencil for writing assignments.
