In this class we will solve, analyze and design logical reasoning puzzles.
Class experience
In this class, learners will be presented with the basic outline of a logical reasoning puzzle. Through solving and discussing the puzzles, learners will identify the critical elements of how to make their own clues and then test out their own puzzles on each other. The challenge is to take a subset of tiles and then create clues that will lead the listener to your exact grouping. An example of a clue might be, “I have more striped tiles than plain ones.” Through a sort of Socratic-style...
I love helping kids think for themselves. Critical thinking skills are essential to math success and my favorite thing to do is to find engaging ways to help kids think creatively and logically.

Because of the degree of interaction and discussion in this class, it functions best if we have a robust class of 4-12 participants. As a result, the minimum class size of 3 is enforced. In order to ensure that we have a good group of participants, I encourage you to sign up with a friend! If you recruit a friend to sign up, you AND your friend will receive a 25% discount.
