Logic puzzle games make a significant contribution to children's cognitive growth, fostering their problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning and critical thinking skills – essential attributes that enable them to navigate complex academic tasks and life challenges with greater ease. This class is created for students who embrace challenges and have an affinity for puzzles. Regardless of whether your child is a seasoned puzzle solver or a budding enthusiast, they will find this course intellectually stimulating and rewarding. It is also an ideal fit for gifted children, providing them with an opportunity to refine their critical thinking skills while enjoying interactive sessions with like-minded peers. Each week, we will delve into the rules and strategies of a new puzzle game, allowing students to apply their learning by working independently on sample puzzles with real-time guidance as needed. Additionally, we will reinforce concepts through engaging mini games. Interactive platforms like Nearpod and Google Jamboard will be used to facilitate collaborative problem-solving. The puzzle sequence will repeat after 14 weeks, ensuring continuous engagement and learning opportunities for all students. We are going to cover these puzzles: Week of June 17: Star Battle Week of June 24: Minesweeper Week of July 1: Jigsaw Sudoku Week of July 8: Aquarium Week of July 15: Skyscraper Week of July 22: Snake Week of July 29: Crypto Week of August 5: Numberlink Week of August 12: Picture Cross Week of August 19: Classic Sudoku Week of August 26: Easy as ABC Week of Sept 2: Battleship Week of Sept 9: Different Neighbors Week of Sept 16: Sumdoku
