Students will challenge their perspectives, look for bias, and understand competing yet passionate oppositions.
I am a certified teacher with a doctorate of jurisprudence and a masters of educational psychology specializing in Creativity & Cognition. Creative teaching and learning is my passion. I am a state-certified educator for all social studies topics from elementary school through high school. I have taught several A.P. social studies classes. I have also served as a science and math specialist, and I have spent many years teaching secondary English.

I address all human history from a global perspective that respects all peoples' backgrounds. I have extensive and diverse experience in child advocacy, the family court system, and TBRI practices. In my spare time I run a foundation created to support veterans and educators in our community. I spent several years homeschooling my own children and working with a co-op.

After 20 years as a certified educator, I am excited to lean into my own creativity and passion for our National Park System. It is my hope that I can inspire all learners to find wonder, peace, and hope through the lessons of our federal lands.
