This class unlocks the magic of puzzles, combining fun and brainpower! Logic puzzle games are invaluable for children as they challenge their minds, fostering problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to think critically – essential tools that empower them to tackle complex problems with confidence in academics and life. This class is also great for gifted learners or homeschoolers who like an extra challenge! This class is the 2nd part of an epic 16-week journey divided into 4 parts/months. You can join any of the 4-part series, but we highly recommend experiencing all in order for maximum fun and learning! - In this 4-week class, we'll learn Jigsaw Sudoku, Minesweeper, and Aquarium – perfect for beginners and those with no prior experience. • First week, we'll start with Jigsaw Sudoku. • Second week, we'll learn Minesweeper - a fun twist to classic Minesweeper game. • Third week we'll solve Aquarium - a very unique puzzle game! • Fourth week, we'll recap everything, play mini games and celebrate our victories with a friendly competition. - Every week, students will learn the basic rules and strategies for one puzzle game. They will then work on sample puzzles independently with real-time guidance whenever needed. We will also reinforce what we learn through some mini games. We'll use Nearpod or Google Jamboard for interactive solving! - There is no homework, however sometimes practice puzzles might be provided at the end of each class. Solving them is optional.
