Class Experience

This class unlocks the magic of puzzles, combining fun and brainpower!

Logic puzzle games are invaluable for children as they challenge their minds, fostering problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to think critically – essential tools that empower them to tackle complex problems with confidence in academics and life.

This class is the 2nd part of an epic 16-week journey divided into 4 parts/months. You can join any of the 4-part series, but we highly recommend experiencing all in order for maximum fun and learning!

- In this 4-week class, we'll learn Different Neighbors, Sumdoku, and Star Battle – perfect for beginners and those with no prior experience.

• First week, we'll start with Different Neighbors.
• Second week, we'll learn Sumdoku - a fun twist to classic Sudoku.
• Third week we'll solve Star Battle puzzles - one of my favorites!
• Fourth week, we'll recap everything, play mini games and celebrate our victories.

- Every week, students will learn the basic rules and strategies for one puzzle game. They will then work on sample puzzles independently with real-time guidance whenever needed. We will also reinforce what we learn through some mini games! We'll use Nearpod or Google Jamboard for interactive solving!

- There is no homework, however sometimes practice puzzles might be provided at the end of each class. Solving them is optional.

- The class materials are designed to fit within 40 minutes; however, sometimes learners would like to take longer to solve their puzzles. They are welcome to stay for an additional 5-10 minutes after the sessions end, but this is absolutely optional and only done if it is okay with everyone's schedules.
