The first week of the month a learner will act as prosecutor and work through three cases. They will choose which case to prosecute, will work through at least one plea agreement with the learner acting as Defense counsel. Learners were be taught about the different stages for a criminal court case and will learn witness preparation, interviewing skills, negotiation skills, speech, and courtroom etiquette. 

In week two of the month the learners will start the court case which will continue until the fourth week of the month where the leaners will conduct oral arguments regarding sentencing. 

This will continue and each month a new court case will be developed by the leaners.
