The class will cover story structure and techniques for building tension. We'll explore how to use descriptions and dialogue to enhance the spooky atmosphere of their stories.

The class is structured into interactive segments, starting with an introduction to spooky storytelling, followed by a creative writing exercise, ending with a story-sharing session and craft to finish after class.

Teaching will be a mix of direct instruction and interactive activities. We’ll use engaging slides and prompts to guide the writing process and encourage creativity.

I use a dynamic and supportive teaching style, aiming to make the class fun and motivating. I focus on encouraging students to express their ideas and develop their writing skills in a positive, interactive environment.

Students will interact with me through live discussions, feedback on their stories, and a collaborative story-sharing segment. Parental Guidance
The class will involve writing and discussing spooky and eerie themes inspired by Goosebumps books. While the focus will be on creative storytelling, some content may include mildly frightening scenarios, such as haunted settings, mysterious creatures, or suspenseful situations. Parents should be aware that this might be unsettling for some children. The stories and prompts used are designed to be age-appropriate for 9-13-year-olds, aiming to be spooky without being too intense. However, sensitivity to individual comfort levels is important. Parents should discuss their child's tolerance for spooky content and ensure they are comfortable with the themes explored
