In this one-time class, students will learn some basic facts about spiders, listen to a fun spider story, and make their own creepy, crawly spider!
Class experience
In this class, students will learn about creepy, crawly spiders! We will learn the body parts of a spider, as well as talk about the webs they spin, and the food they eat! We will listen to the fun story "The Very Busy Spider". Then we will make our own spiders! I enjoy interactive classes where the children can engage in conversation while learning! Students will gain basic knowledge on spiders, which includes the body parts, eating habits, and habitat. Students will also dig into their creative side while doing an art project.
Supplies needed for this class: *Googly eyes *Pipe cleaners *Kinetic sand, play-doh, or clay
