This eight-part series covers different species each week.  Some weeks have more than one in the same category.

We discuss the most known characteristics of each creepy crawly.  
We will learn and talk about its' habitat, and where in the world each is found. 
Students will go over or contribute information on the choice of food sources and how these are obtained. 
We will talk about the life cycles and sizes of adults in the species. 
We will come to an understanding of how each makes a contribution to nature.  
The downloadable worksheets have spaces to fill in information learned in class or noted beforehand, and to add the students' own thoughts. They can use the information in the worksheets or their own understanding of the subject to deepen their knowledge. Students are encouraged to expand on any of the subjects and subcategories.
Learners can even bring pets to share if they have them!  
Each week includes a "knowledge certificate" of completion. 
I teach with enthusiasm and kindness and draw out learners that may be shy.   I will encourage participation by asking questions and calling on students.
