Class Experience

Let's spend an hour checking out pictures and learning about the cool things that make up the weird and wooly creatures of Norse mythology.  We'll find out about dwarves, elves, Fenrir, Jörmungandr, and more!  

Hopefully, we'll spark an interest in everyone and they'll want to run right out and gather all the Norse mythology books the library has to offer!

A basic understanding of Norse mythology and what that means would be helpful.  Having read any of the Magnus Chase books certainly...

I am an experienced high school English teacher and homeschooling mama with a passion for education, literature, critical thought, and intersectionality.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Especially sensitive children may find some of the images slightly frightening, though every effort will be made to keep them as tame as possible.
