Description

Class Experience

Your students will enjoy an animal themed story and then virtually meet the superstar animal of the book. Read along, make animal observations, and investigate otter behavior! Get an up-close look at our resident river otters though real time cameras, and learn how you can help aquatic animals in the wild. 

Ask our otter expert instructors all of your questions, while watching our resident otters swim and play in their habitats at the Texas State Aquarium. 

No previous knowledge is needed;...

This class is taught in English.

Students will be able to name 3 different parts of an otter's body. 
Students can name one way they can help otters in the wild.

None.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Content is appropriate for pre-school and early elementary school learners.

We will be reading Suzanne Tate's "Oopsie Otter: A Tale of Playful Otters".
