At the beginning of class, I will greet and try to get to know each student and his or her name. Each student will be invited to share one of their favorite creatures (stuffed, real, a craft, drawing, picture, or a verbal sharing). Then I will start a google slide presentation where we will play a game called "Name that Creature" (all students will be invited to play). Next, we will talk about what it means to be kind to creatures. Then I will briefly tell them about who wrote the original...
Students will get the opportunity to share their favorite creatures, talk about ways they are kind to animals, listen to "Kindness to Creatures", prepare a craft, and present it.
Please have your student prepare a meadow scene and creatures to be attached to that scene in class. Feel free to use the files below or help them create their own scene and animals. Thanks.
