Creature Feature: Sharks (Animal, Marine Biology)

During the program, we will meet the sharks of the Texas State Aquarium via live cameras. We will make scientific observations about shark behavior, the parts of the body, and other adaptations that sharks use to survive in their watery habitats. We will then work on an activity together that explores what a shark HAS on its body, what a shark DOES, and what a shark IS in its food web and habitat. Students will be able to name 3 different body parts of a shark. Students will be able to identify at least 2 different shark behaviors. Students will be able to name at least one way they can help conserve shark species from home!
