Class Experience
K-1: Use a combination of drawing, dictating oral expression, and/or emergent writing to narrate an event or events in a sequence; Write narratives which recount real or imagined experiences or events or a short sequence of events. 2-4: Write narratives which recount real or imagined experiences or a short sequence of events, including details to describe actions, thoughts, and feelings; use temporal words to signal event order, and provide a sense of closure; 4th-add in sensory words to describe events.
Students will have tasks to complete each week in order to remain on schedule to complete their story.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
